I am delighted with our GCSE results, they build on the excellent improvements we made last year and confirm our position as one of the highest achieving schools in the borough. Particularly impressive where the results in RE, 70% of students achieved 9-7 grades, and similarly in Chemistry and Physics 52% and 48% respectively. There were many outstanding individual performances namely 

Joe Shaw  10 9-7 grades including 3 grade 9s. 
Scarlett Caldwell  9 9-7 grades including 3 grade 9s.
Matthew Clarke 9 9-7 grades including 2 grade 9s.
Katie Lindley  9 9-7 grades including 2 grade 9s.
Charlotte Naylor Eaton 9 9-7 grades including 1 grade 9.
Meghan Marsh 8 9-7 grades including 2 grade 9s.
Amy Dingsdale 8 9-7 grades including 1 grade 9.
Ben Halsall 8 9-7 grades including 2 grade 9s.
Isaac Poole 7 9-7 grades including 2 grade 9s. 

However, I would like to congratulate all our students on their personal achievements, they have worked exceptionally hard and deserve this success. They have been supported throughout by their parents, and of course our dedicated staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure that all our students can achieve to the best of their ability.
