Children In Need
19.11.2010Last Friday was Children in Need Day and our Sixth Form students made sure it was a day to remember, with lots of fundraising activities going on throughout the day.
As well as wearing fancy dress the students also made and sold cakes around the academy, held various competitions, and even had a marshmallow and malteser eating contest!
In total, with contributions from their efforts on the Super Learning Day, over £700 was raised for this very worthwhile cause. A big thank you goes out to all staff and students who supported their efforts, and a massive well done to all in the Sixth Form, particularly the Student Council members who put so much work into planning the day.
