Christmas Cheer sent to Kenya
19.11.2010During the past two weeks students in Year 7,8 and 9 have been designing some creative Christmas presentations to send out to our partner school in Kenya - The Alwala Secondary School.
The aim of this exciting partnership is to develop pupil understanding of another culture and develop friendships in other nations.
I would like to say a huge thank you on behalf of the Alwala Secondary School for all the effort that staff and students have put into this project. Some of the creations and the generosity of students was amazing. We were able to send out 7 very large boxes out to Kenya. I am sure they will be very pleased to receive these and learn how we celebrate Christmas in the UK. Students will hopefully receive Christmas projects from Kenya between February and March, so watch this space. Massive thank you again and a huge well done for all your efforts. Mrs Bowyer.
