Community Car Wash

The sun finally came out, after a torrential down pour last Wednesday afternoon, and we were ready with our buckets and sponges to clean about 13 willing staff cars in the school car park.

The group of very willing volunteers came from Mrs Bowyer's fantastic year 8 PSHE class. There was lots of scrubbing and water going everywhere but in the end the cars were cleaned and lots of fun was had by all. The event was raising money for the History Trip to Normandy next week and each of the group worked really hard to help others. This is a key PSHE & Citizenship skill, helping others and working as a team.
