DofE Year 10 Trip
10.03.2011Over the last 2 weeks, Year 10 students that are working to complete their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award have been having their day walks.
The walk, concentrated on the Wirral Peninsula, goes from Seacombe Ferry all the way to Leasowe Lighthouse. All the groups have found the walk challenging whilst being very enjoyable.
All the walks went without a hitch until Emma Jones decided to go for a walk near the beach and ended up sliding on a large, thick, smelly mound of seaweed. The rest of the group kept a good distance from her for the rest of the trip!
Well done to all groups that have completed the walk. Members of the public from the area have all been thoroughly complementary about how you all conducted yourselves during the visit!
