Fund Raising
10.06.2011Mr Terry presents a cheque for £1,038 to Beverley Burnham-Jones from the Cystic Fibrosis Fund.
This was the money raised through fundraising during Cystic Fibrosis Week, including an own clothes day for staff and students, a 6th form charity football match, a teachers v 6th form netball match and a Merseyside v Manchester staff football match.
Student awareness of CF was also raised during the week through tutor time & PSHE lessons, where Aaron Aby gave an inspirational talk to all Year 8 students about performing as a international athlete and having Cystic Fibrosis.
