Karate Succes for Nicole

Congratulations to Nicole Donoghue (10JAY) has secured a place on the KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain) English Kumite (fighting) Squad for the 2nd year running.

Trials took place at the KUGB head quarters on Saturday 30th January, when Karateka from all over the country competed for a place
on the squad. Nicole has also made the shortlist of three in the St Helens Cultural Awards for Young Elite Sporting Performer, the awards take place 25th February, 2011.
