LADS Program

Congratulations to the Year 7 LADS who completed the six week adventure, rugby league leadership and teambuilding course.

Over the duration of the program the lads conquered a rugby league fitness test at Thatto Heath RLFC, coached primary school students in the art of Rugby League and also visited Rock and River completing military style team building tasks, high wire assault courses, indoor rock climbing, raft building and the nerve testing 'leap of faith'.

"The best bit was the leap of faith, we had to climb up a 30ft telegraph pole which was swaying in the wind then stand on it and leap off" Michael Stout (7MSE)

On completion of the programme the chaps were taken onto the field at the Stobart stadium before kick off of the St Helens v Hull KR game and then watched the mighty Saints earn 2 points.
