Representatives from the Academy and the gym attended the high profile National Fitness Awards which were held in York.
The nomination was due to such trailblazing projects such as the mums and daughters, launchpad, gym passes for kids and the gyms, Suttons Strongest Man and their continual support of core, BTEC, GCSE and Diploma lessons. The glittering community award was given to us by the former Olympic Athlete Sharon Davies who praised the work of both institutions.
