Sutton Staff run for a good cause
08.03.2011Five staff from the Academy have entered for the Liverpool Half Marathon on Sunday 27th March.
Mr Dwyer, Mr Owens, Mr Blakemore, Mr Hughes and Mr Albrecht will be running the 13.1 miles for Bliss, the premature baby charity. This is a charity close to Mr Dwyer's heart as his daughter Lauren was born 3 months premature and spent 11 weeks in the neonatal unit at Warrington Hospital back in 2006.
The runners have been training hard since the new year, running at least 3 times a week and have even been seen pounding the streets of Mill Lane after school on a Thursday.
