Year 7 Basketball

Luck just wasn’t on the Year 7 Basketball team’s side on Thursday 9 December.

The Year 7 Basketball Team competed in the St Helens central venue basketball tournament where 6 schools, including ours, came together at the academy to take part. Myself, and coach Metcalfe lost count of how many times the ball rimmed the basketball net, which was a hugely frustrating for the team. The squad comprising of Rob Bowes, Tom Casberry, David Sutton, Tyler Macdonald, Callum Dixon, Michael Stout and Jessica Quilliam worked really hard without the reward however a much improved performance and a step in the right direction for the team.
