I hope you all had a fantastic break and are rested, ready for 6 weeks of interesting work.
Well done to MANDELA who won the Community Competition for last half term. The football competition earned all communities extra points for showing examples of the Y7 motto: Respect Yourself, Respect Others. Keep up the good work!
Do you have any ideas or suggestions for reward trips you may like to go on? Or how about ideas for inter community competitions? Feel free to post these ideas into the Y7 postbox and the Y7 team will discuss them and try to get some sorted for you.
I would like to take this opportunity to say congratulations to all of you who took part in the dance show. It was an amazing night and you are all incredibly talented. I was proud of you all. Make sure you thank Miss Seddon, Miss Page and the sixth formers, for organising the show for you.
It's lovely to hear from Mrs O'Driscoll about all of you taking part in the Reading scheme. Keep up the good work! There are prizes to be had for those who try really hard.
Please make sure you are remembering the basics needed for effective learning. You should be bringing in a bag with all the equipment you need for the day. I'll be round tutors checking this week, so get yourself organised!
Be good and be proud of yourself. Don't let our standards slip.
Mrs K
