The Sutton Academy Sixth Form Day is for identified students only, who meet the entry criteria. Students have been contacted separately to inform them whether they are eligible to attend this event.

Year 11 students are about to begin a very exciting yet challenging phase in their education.  At The Sutton Academy Sixth Form we are fully committed to ensuring that the transition from Key Stage 4 to 5 is as smooth as possible for all our students, and attending our welcome day is the first step in that process. 

As well as being able to sample three of the subjects that they are interested in studying at level 3, they will also have the opportunity to attend a number of presentations delivered by the Sixth Form leadership team to learn more about life in the Sixth Form. 

The day will launch at 9.00am and registration will take place in the Arts Centre.  You will be greeted by the Sixth Form Leadership team and receive your agenda for the day.  Refreshments will be provided throughout the day as well as a buffet lunch in the Sixth Form Centre, prepared by our wonderful Sixth Form food students.   Students will be able to wear their own clothes but we do ask that all students dress appropriately for the day. 

We are very proud of our Sixth Form and attending here will provide them with the opportunities and encouragement needed to reach their full potential. We will fully prepare them for life beyond Sixth Form and ensure that they leave us as a successful, well-rounded, confident individual, ready for the challenges ahead.
