Students Make Their Mark in Snooker and Pool!

Celebrating Year 9 student success!
We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Year 9 students Thomas O'D and Reegan W, who are making waves in the local and regional snooker and pool scene!
Reegan W – A Record-Breaking Champion
Reegan, alongside his step-dad Danny, made history by becoming the youngest ever winners of the St Helens Snooker Pairs Championship! Their teamwork and skill also earned them a Runner-up finish in the League Championship, showcasing Reegan’s growing reputation as a rising star in the sport.
Thomas O'D – A Season of Success
Thomas continued his impressive run by winning the St Helens Three Man Team Championship with teammates from Unison Sports Club. His talent and leadership were further recognised as he became the youngest player ever to win both the Player of the Year (joint) and Captain’s Player of the Year awards — a truly remarkable feat!
Looking Ahead: County Representation
Both Thomas and Reegan have now been selected to represent Merseyside in the 2025 County Championship Pool Tournament — a fantastic honour and a testament to their dedication, skill, and sportsmanship.
We are incredibly proud of both students and can’t wait to see what they achieve next. Well done, Thomas and Reegan — you’re an inspiration to us all!
