A Night to Remember: Sixth Form Awards Gala

On Thursday 17 July, we proudly hosted our first ever Sixth Form Awards Gala — and what a night it was! The event marked a significant milestone in the academy’s journey, bringing together students, staff, alumni, and families to celebrate the achievements and spirit of our Sixth Form community.

The evening was filled with pride, celebration, and inspiration, as awards were presented for curriculum excellence, outstanding attendance, academy values, and special recognition. Each award highlighted the dedication, resilience, and talent of our incredible students.

Special Guests & Performances

We were honoured to welcome alumni Abbie Mills, who delivered a powerful and inspiring talk, reminding students of the possibilities that lie ahead. The evening also featured a stunning musical performance by Summer Whyment, whose talent captivated the audience.

A special thank you goes to Year 9 student Kiya M, who opened the gala with an amazing performance — setting the tone for a truly memorable night.
