Cheerleaders Shine at National Championships

A team of 37 talented cheerleaders from the academy travelled to the Manchester Velodrome on Sunday 15 June to compete in the prestigious National Cheerleading Championships — and their performances were nothing short of outstanding.

The highlight of the day came as the KS4 Level 3 Cheerleading team secured 1st place for the fourth consecutive year, a remarkable achievement that reflects their dedication, skill, and teamwork.

Other impressive results included:

• 2nd place out of 7 teams in KS4 Level 2 Cheerleading
• 4th place out of 7 in KS4 Level 1 Cheerleading
• 4th place in Urban Cheer for both KS3 and KS4

The competition brought together schools from across the country, and our students rose to the occasion with energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Their hard work in training and commitment to excellence were evident in every routine.
