Rewards Trip

The Sixth Form Rewards Trip to Disneyland Paris March 2026 is open to all students in Year 12 and Year 13 with a maximum of 40 places. The current quote and pricing of £630.00 per student requires a deposit of £50.00 to be paid on Arbor by Monday 24 November 2025. A second payment of £100.00 is due by Monday 8 December 2025 and the final balance of £480.00 is due no later than Friday 9 January 2026. The trip is currently live on Arbor for you to sign up and pay. Places will be awarded on a first come first served basis.

The quote includes the following, as well as the insurance required to travel:

Monday 16 March 2026:

• Students make their own way to The Sutton Academy.
• Early departure from The Sutton Academy by coach.
• Travel to Dover for a lunchtime crossing to France.
• Continue to Disneyland Paris Village.
• Evening shuttle to hotel.
• Arrive at accommodation Explorers Hotel (Bed and Breakfast included)

Tuesday 17 March 2026:

• Visit to Disneyland Paris.

Wednesday 18 March 2026:

• Breakfast at accommodation.
• Visit to Disneyland Paris.

Thursday 19 March 2026:

• Breakfast at accommodation.
• Travel to and from Paris by coach to visit Paris for sightseeing.
• Evening at Disneyland Village.

Friday 20 March 2026:

• Breakfast at accommodation.
• Early departure for Calais.
• Mid-afternoon crossing back to England.
• Arrival at The Sutton Academy (approximately 11.00pm).
• Students to make their own way home.

Students will also need money for their daily expenses such as meals, snacks and drinks which they will be free to purchase and organise themselves. Breakfast is included at the hotel on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Rooming will be organised with students once we know who is attending. Based on hotel availability, rooms are 5 students to a room, consisting of singles/bunkbeds. Again, this is based on availability of the hotel. We aim for students to be with at least one friend within the rooms and will discuss this with students once booking details have been confirmed with the hotel.

Although the hotel has a gym and pool, this is not part of our trip and therefore prohibited to us.

Students are aware that rewards trips for Sixth Form are in accordance with students meeting the academy expectations. To be clear, for Sixth Form, this will involve students having:

• 95% attendance to lessons, as a minimum
• Less than 10 lates to lessons
• Work up to date in their lessons
• Majority of Attitude to Learning grades 1-2

Essentially, we want students to enjoy their time in Sixth Form and to be rewarded for their consistent presence, focus on their studies and hard work. We do understand that students may be worried about these requirements, given we have almost completed a full half term. Please rest assured that we see this as a goal to work towards. We will review each case independently; if students are working towards the above expectations from now up to March, there is no reason why a student would not meet these expectations.

If a student does have unavoidable circumstances such as medical appointments and or illness moving forward, we can make allowance for this, reviewed case by case. Students who sign up from this point will be reviewed by The Sixth Form Leadership Team at regular intervals and communicated with you if issues arise; so, every effort is made to support students to attend the rewards trip.

Parents and Carers, if you wish your child to attend The Sixth Form Rewards Trip, please pay the deposit of £50.00 on Arbor Pay by Monday 24 November. Doing so confirms your agreement of the conditions and details outlined above.
