Year 7 Explore Careers in Banking

Students from Year 7 who are part of The King’s Trust Mosaic Programme recently had the opportunity to attend an inspiring World of Work visit in Liverpool’s Business Quarter. The visit took place at Santander, where students gained valuable insights into the corporate banking sector.

Throughout the day, students participated in a series of interactive workshops designed to broaden their understanding of the banking industry. They explored how banks operate, discovered the wide range of job roles available within the sector, and learned about alternative career pathways beyond university for entering the world of banking.

Santander’s team were fantastic hosts, providing real-world knowledge and motivation that left a lasting impression on our students. The experience was not only educational but also empowering, with students taking away plenty of positives and a clearer vision of future opportunities.
