Important Update: Elton Head Road Bus Stop Works
We have been informed by the rail team that, now the station works are complete, St Helens Council will begin reinstalling the old bus stops on Elton Head Road. Please see the attached plan for details.
Key Information:
- Start Date: Week commencing 12th January
- Duration: Approximately 5 days (weather permitting)
- Purpose: Safe installation of new works
To carry out these works safely:
- Permanent traffic signals at the station entrance will be switched off daily from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Temporary traffic signals will be installed during this time.
- A pedestrian push-button crossing will be available from the school side to the station side.
These measures are designed to minimise disruption during school opening and closing times. We appreciate your patience and understanding while these improvements are completed.
