Year 11 student, Libby, proudly represented the academy at the recent St Helens Oracy Event, held at St Helens Town Hall on Wednesday 21 January.
Libby was personally invited to attend the celebration, which brought together talented young people from across the borough to recognise outstanding achievements in oracy. The event was attended by students, families, school staff, members of the Local Authority, and St Helens Library Service.
During the event, Libby had the exciting opportunity to meet acclaimed writer Frank Cottrell Boyce, who read aloud some of the winning entries and presented each winner with a special prize.
The evening highlighted the creativity, confidence, and communication skills of local young people, and we are incredibly proud that Libby was part of such an inspiring occasion.
Well done, Libby — a fantastic achievement!
