Year 10 Students Win First Round of Rotary Youth Speaks Competition

Students represent the academy at Youth Speaks Competition!
Three talented Year 10 students from the academy—Lucas, Linards, and Andrew—are celebrating success after winning the first round of the Rotary Youth Speaks competition at Golborne High School.
Despite facing strong competition and having just three weeks to prepare, the trio delivered an outstanding performance that impressed the judges and secured them first place. Their achievement reflects not only their hard work and dedication, but also their confidence and ability to speak with clarity and purpose.
Their victory means they will now progress to the Rotary District Final, which will take place in late February.
Mr Lovelady shared his pride, stating, “They are amazing students, and I am incredibly proud of them!”
We wish Lucas, Linards, and Andrew the very best as they prepare for the next stage of the competition. They have already achieved something remarkable—well done!
