Humanities Residential for Year 11

Geography and History students took part in a Humanities Revision Residential to help prepare for their upcoming GCSE examinations.

Last month, 80 Year 11 Geography and History students took part in a Humanities Revision Residential to help prepare for their upcoming GCSE examinations. Throughout the residential, students attended a range of focused revision sessions designed to strengthen their knowledge, improve exam skills and build confidence ahead of the summer exams.

Alongside the academic sessions, students also enjoyed a variety of outdoor and team-building activities including archery, fencing and climbing. The residential provided an excellent opportunity for students to balance hard work with fun and challenge themselves in new ways.

One of the highlights of the trip was the evening bingo event, which featured some unforgettable prizes! Students competed enthusiastically for rewards including a space hopper, a Viking helmet and horn, a cactus and even a life-size cardboard cut-out of Queen Elizabeth I!

The residential was a fantastic experience for all involved, combining valuable GCSE preparation with memorable activities and opportunities to strengthen friendships and teamwork.
