Students Explore NHS Careers

On Tuesday 13 May, Year 10 students from the Health and Social Care and Childcare cohorts had an inspiring and eye-opening experience at the Alder Hey Careers Fair.

The event offered students a unique opportunity to engage directly with a diverse range of NHS professionals, including administrative staff, IT maintenance teams, paediatric nurses, and orthopaedic therapists. This hands-on exposure allowed students to see how their classroom learning translates into real-world healthcare careers.

Throughout the day, students asked questions, explored different career paths, and gained valuable insights into the many roles that keep the NHS running. The experience not only broadened their understanding of the healthcare sector but also sparked new aspirations and ambitions for their futures.
