Year 10 Gain Real-World Insight at The Hayloft

Towards the end of last term, our Year 10 Business students had the exciting opportunity to visit The Hayloft, Cheshire, as part of their ongoing studies into how local businesses operate.

The visit offered students a valuable behind‑the‑scenes look at the day‑to‑day running of a successful business. From understanding customer service and marketing, to exploring finance, operations and management, the experience brought classroom learning to life in a meaningful and memorable way.

A huge thank you goes to both the owner and manager at The Hayloft, who generously gave their time to guide our students through the different aspects of the business. Their insights, honesty and willingness to answer questions made the visit incredibly informative and engaging.

This hands‑on experience has given our students a stronger understanding of the real‑world application of business theory and has inspired many of them to think more deeply about future career pathways.
