Dance Show 2026

Over 170 dancers took to the stage each evening!

The Sutton Academy brought this year’s dance show, Boogie Wonderland, to an unforgettable close on Thursday 12 February, rounding off three incredible nights of performance, energy and creativity.

Across the week, the Arts Theatre was at full capacity as over 170 dancers wowed audiences with a vibrant mix of routines, impressive choreography and stunning costumes. Each night showcased the hard work, talent and dedication of students from across the academy.

A Special Farewell to Year 13

Thursday’s finale held particular significance as we celebrated and said a fond farewell to our Year 13 dancers, who took to the stage for their final performance. They were joined by former Sixth Form students, returning for “one last dance” and creating a memorable moment for performers, staff and families alike.

Primary Pupils Take to the Stage

We were also delighted to welcome Sherdley, Sutton Manor and Robins Lane Primary, whose pupils performed brilliantly on each night. Their routine—choreographed by our talented Year 10 students—was met with huge applause and added an extra layer of excitement to each evening.

A Celebration of Talent and Community

Boogie Wonderland once again highlighted the strength of performing arts within our academy, the dedication of our staff team, and the enthusiasm of students across all year groups. The atmosphere throughout the three nights reflected a strong sense of community, pride and celebration.

Congratulations to every dancer, choreographer and staff member involved for making this year’s show a resounding success.
