We are extremely proud of year 8 student Millie S who recently took part in the inaugural European Summit in Lisbon, one of the most prestigious competitions of the cheerleading season.

To earn their place at this event, Millie and her teams (Crimson and Crystal) first had to secure a bid at a competition in May 2025. Achieving a bid is no easy feat — they had to score among the highest in their category and place in the top two teams to qualify.

Fast forward a year, and they found themselves competing with more than 380 cheer teams from across Europe. Over two intense days of competition, Millie and her teams gave it their all and were ultimately awarded Bronze in both the U12 and U16 divisions earning them a well-deserved place on the podium.

This is a phenomenal achievement and one that deserves to be celebrated. Reaching this level takes countless hours of training, dedication, determination, and teamwork. The commitment shown by Millie and her teammates throughout the year has truly paid off.

Millie and her teams should be incredibly proud of themselves. To stand on the podium at such a major international event is a testament to their hard work, resilience, and passion for the sport.

Congratulations, Millie on an outstanding double bronze medal performance at the European Summit in Lisbon!
