The boys football teams had a number of fixtures this week. Our Year 7's and 8's lost their respective Cup games against St Augustine's and Hope Academy, but they showed great determination and resilience to try and win both games battling until the very end of each game.

Our Year 10 football team continue to march forward in the English schools, beating Alsop High 5-1.  Jack Sutton scoring a hat-trick! Its going to be very exciting to see what Mr Cawley's team achieve at the end of the season.

The Year 10 BTEC and GCSE students had a memorable experience at Manchester City's football academy. They participated in a coaching session with the Academy staff, had a tour of the facilities and took part in a Q/A session with their head of recruitment. A fantastic experience.
