The Sutton Academy Open Evening

At The Sutton Academy, we are delighted to invite Years 5&6 parents/carers to our annual Open Evening event, which will be held on Thursday 21 September, between 6.00pm and 8.00pm.

During the event there will be the opportunity to hear from the academy Principal; Mr Willerton, who will give a presentation outlining our vision and ethos here at the academy. There will be two presentations; the first at 6.00pm and the second at 7.00pm. There will also be the opportunity to have a tour of the academy given by our student guides, and see first-hand the excellent facilities we have to offer. Students will be able to participate in learning activities in all curriculum areas, and those who attend will receive an academy gift bag and be entered into our £100 prize draw.

The Sutton Academy has been awarded a ‘Good’ judgement by Ofsted across all areas; which is very much a testament to the hard work and dedication of all our staff. Our most recent externally verified exam results; place us top in the local authority, as well as top in the country for schools with a similar intake. That being said; we recognise success is not just about exam performance, and we work hard to develop students who are kind, resilient, reflective and part of our community.
