Since joining The Challenge Academy Trust (TCAT) in September 2024, we have become part of a family of schools united by a shared commitment to educational excellence, inclusivity and continuous improvement. TCAT’s mission is to serve, challenge and empower the educational community, creating opportunities for pupils, staff and schools to thrive through collaboration and shared expertise. The Trust is guided by core values that promote collaboration, wellbeing, celebrating diversity, social justice and high-quality education for all. Through its focus on pupils, people and performance, TCAT works to improve outcomes, support vulnerable young people, develop staff expertise and ensure sustainable success across all its schools. |
At the heart of TCAT’s approach are its three core principles: Collaboration, Challenge and Continuous Professional Development. These principles enable schools to learn from one another, benefit from high-quality training and support, and continually strive for improvement. Through a wide range of enrichment opportunities, student leadership activities and curriculum programmes, TCAT also provides experiences that help young people develop confidence, ambition and a strong sense of belonging within the wider Trust community.
