Tomorrow we will be having non-uniform day! Students are allowed to wear their own clothes, or academy uniform. Due to the expected warm weather, students will be allowed to wear shorts that are an appropriate length. Kind regards The Sutton Academy

Important Notice for Parents/Carers Due to high student numbers at the academy, our car park is often full, causing parking issues. We have received complaints about parking on cycle lanes, pathways, and the Housing Estate opposite the academy. To help, please: Encourage your child to walk, cycle, or use public transport if possible. Avoid parking on the Housing Estate opposite the academy. Consider using Sherdley Park car park for drop-offs and pick-ups. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated! Read the letter in full here:

Last week, we were honoured to host several distinguished external speakers who addressed our students on critical topics including drugs, gangs, knife crime, and gender. Year 10 benefited from an insightful presentation by Christian from Gender Space focusing on LGBTQ+ issues and the importance of inclusivity. Years 9-11 engaged in a compelling talk with @paulhannaford learning about the realities of drugs and crime. Years 7-8 concluded the week with an informative session from The Daniel Fox Foundation emphasising the dangers of knife crime. The feedback from our visitors was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the attentiveness and engagement of our students.
