Key Information

How It Works

At the heart of our House System is our Academy vision and values:

House Allocation

To support with creating a truly inclusive system for both students and staff, House names were voted on and decided on by the whole Academy. Every student and member of staff is placed into one of the five houses: Fire, Air, Water, Earth and Sun.

House Leadership

Every House is supported by a dedicated leadership team consisting of:

  • Head of House
  • House Captains (Years 10-11)
  • House Representatives from each tutor group

Student leaders play an active role in promoting events, gathering student voice, leading assemblies and helping shape the future of the House System.
